3. Citronella Ceylon (Cymbopogon nardus - Sri Lanka)

Citronella essential oil is obtained from a scented grass similar to lemongrass that grows and cultivated in Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia. It is usually a pale yellow to yellowish-brown with a powerful lemony scent. It can be used in a massage oil for rheumatism and is most widespread use as an insect repellent as well as the manufacture of soap, household disinfectants. 4. Clove Leaf (Eugenia caryophyllus - Indonesia)

Clove leaf is the first choice as first aid for toothache. A couple of drops of clove essential oil on a cotton wool bud, applied to the aching tooth, has a slight anesthetic affect, relieving pain for a few hours. If the pain is caused by a lost filling, a piece of cotton wool soaked in clove oil and inserted into the cavity will have the same analgesic, anesthetic effect. 5. Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus - Spain)

6. Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus - Thailand)

7. Anise Star (Illicium verum - Thailand)

Anise Star is native to China, Vietnam and Thailand. This colourless to pale yellow with spicy-sweet oil is well known for its effect on the digestive system. Maybe helpful with colic and flatulence. 8. Cajeput (Melaleuca leucadendron var. cajuputi - Indonesia)

Cajeput is best known as an inhalation for colds and other respiratory infections, and effectively clears the nasal passages while inhibiting the bacteria that proliferate in the mucus formed during colds and flu. 12. May Chang (Litsea cubeba - Indonesia)

May Chang or called "Litsea Cubeba" is native to China. The lemon-scented oil is extracted from the fruits and very rich in citral with some linalol. Litsea cubeba is valuable in skin care as it is non-irritant, very antiseptic and effective in treating oily skin, acne and spots with no risk of phtosensitivity, it's widely used as a replacement of citrus oils in facial application. 13. Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans - Indonesia)

Nutmeg is the kernel of the fruit, native to Java and Sumatra. This oil has been recommended to combined with Clove and Rosemary for relieving rheumatic pain. This is certainly a powerful and effective blend, but is should be used with care as it is very stimulating. Nutmeg makes an agreeable addition to winter blends of oils for warming and generally toning up the body, and strengthening its resistance to cold. 15. Wild Mint (Mentha arvensis - Nepal)

Wild Mint has a dual action by cooling when hot and warming when cold. This makes it a good remedy for colds by halting mucus and fevers and encouraging perspiration, useful in respiratory disorders generally as well as dry coughs and sinus congestion.
